Bulk Grains Details & Evac FHE activity

Did you hear? We are doing bulk orders of Oats this month.

We have an amazing opportunity to purchase high-quality products from Azure Standard, a company which sells bulk grain items and the like.   They have a huge catalog, and most of their stuff is organic non-gmo.  It is exciting to have a source for great quality grains.  Our ward will be part of group that orders once a month.  If you are interested in ordering, you can visit their online catalog azurestandard.com to get their catalog.  Their quality is one of the highest you can get.  Our first order is due no later than Sunday, March 23rd.  Payment must accompany orders.  Order forms will be passed out at church on Sunday, March 17th, so take a look at the catalog and see what you need.  This is the information needed when ordering:

For each item you request, please specify:

1.  The Catalog Item Code
2.  The Catalog Item Description
3.  The Catalog Item Unit Size, and
4.  The Catalog Item Unit Price

For example, if you want 5 Pounds of Organic Hard Red Wheat (. . . see Catalog Page 108), your request would indicate:

GR062 Wheat, Hard, Red, Organic / 5 lbs / $2.90

Catalog pricing is subject to change without notice, so your price will be whatever the current price is when the order is placed.  Azure Standard adds a delivery charge of 8.5 % to the cost of all items ordered for delivery to our drop point, so please include that in your payment which must accompany your order.

Feel free to order whatever you want, but as a ward we will be focusing on oats this month.  That way, you can combine with someone else if you don't want an entire bag yourself.  The prices for oats are cheaper than even the LDS cannery, WalMart, and Sams.  To find out how much your family needs for one year, go to http://lds.about.com/library/bl/faq/blcalculator.htm  (these are approximate amounts but will give you an idea)

Please give your orders and checks made out to Janice Greenhalgh to her by Sunday, March 23rd.  We will be ordering again next month!

Also don't forget to get your family's evacuation plan done.  Family night is a great time to do it.  Make it a game.  Time your family and see what they choose, then talk about if that was a good choice or not, i.e what good would it do, what's it's purpose.  Or pre-plan what to get and see if you can get it all done with out going over.
